Living life simply – on the land, off the grid, close to the Lord.

Welcome to Tabletop Homestead on Big Turtle Creek. Our goal is to share the knowledge and experience of 20 years of homesteading and to promote agrarianism.  We don’t monetize our blog in any way so any product recommendations we might make are for items that have stood the test of real use by us here on our off-grid homestead.  (We haven’t used everything listed in the Support Agrarianism links.)  Any ads you may see are WordPress’s doing, not ours, and we have no connection whatsoever with the advertisers.   A Christian worldview is integral to our homesteading and preparedness mindset and that will come across in our posts at times.

Please feel free to comment or use our contact form with any questions or informational needs. I read all comments and emails. We will do our best to help.

We hope you find inspiration here.

  1. Hi Judy,

I wanted to return the blog visit and thank you for your comment on mine. Thank you, especially, for your kind words about my interview on Scott’s show last night. I am a terribly awkward speaker, but have been truly blessed by being a part of it.

Your blog is fantastic. Such a treasure trove of information. I’m delighted to meet you look forward to exploring your blog.

  2. I love reading about homesteading life! It’s exciting to me, although I’m more of an urban city dweller, one can dream… I do what I can with where I live! I find these blogs a great resource for things tried and true. I’m a firm believer in learning to live off the land more than from out of the governments pockets! If that makes sense? ! Haha I don’t always like to rely on what’s prepackaged, I’d rather a more self sufficient way of life and living by my own means! 🙂 Thanks for your blog! Much respect! ~Melissa

    1. Thank you for visiting, Melissa. It is so true, anyone can make life changes to reduce their dependency on the industrial system. Keep on doing and dreaming.

    1. Thank you, Cindy. I hope, with His help, to get myself squared away and return to being a help to my readers.

      1. You as well! I believe I remembered seeing your blog before, via FB, but forgot to save the link to your blog, so now that I am no longer on that social media network, this will be a wonderful way to keep up to date with you and your family!

And thanks also for following my blog too! I would not have found your blog again otherwise. God is so good!!! 🙂
